Episode 68 - Day 24 of 30 Days To More Sales - Where Should Your Next 100 Customers Come From?

Oct 04, 2026

If I asked you where your next 100 customers are coming from, would your answer be a plan?

Or would it be a list of every place you sell?

Amazon.

Shopify.

Walmart.com.

TikTok Shop.

Etsy.

Wholesale.

Google.

Social media.

We’ve had planning meetings in our own business where every sales channel looked like the next big opportunity.

And every one of them had a good reason to get more attention.

Amazon was already selling.

Shopify gave us the customer relationship.

Walmart.com had reach.

TikTok Shop was getting attention.

Wholesale could move more units at once.

By the time we finished talking about all the possibilities, we hadn’t really chosen a growth plan.

We had given ourselves six new jobs.

That’s what we’re talking about in Day 24 of 30 Days to More Sales.

Because being in several places can absolutely help grow a product business.

But trying to actively grow every channel at the same time can spread your money, inventory, time, and attention so thin that none of them gets enough focus to really work.

The question that changed the conversation for us was simple:

Where are we choosing to go get the next 100 new customers?

Not where could they come from.

Where are we actually going to focus?

IN THIS EPISODE, YOU’LL HEAR:

  • Why “everywhere” isn’t really a customer-growth plan
  • What happened when every sales channel became a priority in our own business
  • Why adding more opportunities can sometimes create more work instead of more growth
  • How I think about deciding which channels deserve extra attention
  • Why your existing customer behavior can give you important clues
  • Why a channel that looks exciting may not be the right growth focus right now
  • How to keep healthy channels running without trying to aggressively grow all of them
  • Why a 30-day focus can help you learn more than constantly changing direction

YOUR ONE CLEAR NEXT STEP

Ask yourself this:

If I had to choose where my next 100 new customers were going to come from, what would I choose today?

Don’t automatically say everywhere.

Pick the one or two places you believe deserve a closer look.

Then listen to the episode before you decide where your next 30 days of growth effort should go.

Tomorrow, we’re looking at what happens after you spend the money and effort to get a brand-new customer.
